About Dynamat

Dynamat is a US made material that is comprised of a rubber base and aluminum foil. Dynamic Control of North America, Inc. is a privately held corporation located in Hamilton, Ohio, USA. Established in 1989, the company markets acoustic environmental solutions for a broad range of industries.

Types of Dynamat Products:

  • Dynamat Xtreme

Dynamat Xtreme is the highest efficiency energy conversion, sound deadener. Xtreme is a self-adhesive, elastomeric "space age" synthetic rubber with a heavy 4 mil aluminum constraining layer. VECTOR Chemistry directs the noise causing energy into silent energy. Xtreme is also the easiest product to install. The super sticky rubber and heavy aluminum stretches and contours better than any other product on the market.

  • Dynamat SuperLite

Dynamat SuperLite utilizes the same VECTOR Chemistry as Dynamat Xtreme in a thinner, and therefore, light weight self-adhesive sound deadener. SuperLite is 30% thinner and lighter and still out performs other brands of damping material. The gleaming blue alloy layer is 2 mils thick and helps you get a quieter car without the weight!

  • Dynamat Dynaliner

Dynaliner is the most effective automotive thermal insulator available. Dynaliner is a soft, self-adhesive closed cell rubber that resists oil and water. It will not hold water or promote rust or mildew like most under carpet padding. Dynaliner provides acoustic absorption and thermal insulation. Available in 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" thicknesses, use the thickest one that your space will allow.

  • Dynamat DynaPad

DynaPad is a four layer composite barrier for extra hard to control noise problems. It is a heavy, one pound per square foot mat for use on diesel truck floors and car audio installations. DynaPad has a viny barrier between two layers of acoustic foam and a waterproof poly facing. It has no adhesive so it can be reused.

  • Dynamat Hoodliner

The Hoodliner is an acoustic "sound soaker" foam with an aluminized reinforced skin that is oil and water resistant and cleanable. The high-tack self-adhesive material is of adequate size for most vehicle hoods. Dress up your engine compartment and stop the noise!

  • Dynamat DynaPlate

Dynaplate is a very thin, strong and light weight sound deadener. The solid aluminum sheet is self-adhesive. Use Dynaplate where space is an issue or to bridge openings in body panels. It's a great product to help turn a door into a speaker enclosure.
